WOW! We can’t say thank you enough for your support! From California to New York and Colorado to Florida – all over the country there were men and women honoring and thanking our sanitation workers during the week of June 17th with notes, baked goods, BBQ’s and more! All of this is to show just how much garbage workers are appreciated for what they do to keep our country clean and free of waste.
Shout Out’s From Across the Nation
We had so many expressions of thanks for sanitation workers shared with us from individuals and companies this year! To see them all, visit the National Garbage Man Day Facebook page. Here are just a few links to pictures and notes people shared of how they showed their appreciation the week of June 17th:

Baked “garbage truck” cookies shaped and decorated like the New York Department of Sanitation vehicles. Great idea for this year and in the future!
